Visa Classic card

"You won't miss out on good deals"

The Visa Classic card lets you pay, without fees, for your purchases in Luxembourg and throughout the world. With a Visa card, you'll never miss out on a good deal, as practically all merchants accept Visa.

Your Visa Classic card works with a secret code that you type to purchase items or withdraw money. It is possible to change the secret code on your card at cash dispensers with a "Change PIN" function.

At the end of each month, you will receive a detailed breakdown of all your transactions for the month. You have more than a week to check your VISA statement and transfer funds to your post office account if necessary. Our Visa card provides you with free credit for one month on average. The maximum credit limit is agreed between you and the P&T.

CCP Connect internet banking holders may check their Visa card transactions throughout the month in CCP Connect. To convince you of the benefits of this modern means of payment, P&TLuxembourg offers you the Visa Classic card free for the first year.

In case of loss or theft of your Visa card

Immediately call +352 491010 (24//7) to block the card.

Visa card restrictions

Restrictions of the Visa Classic card and the Visa Luxair AirPlus are as follows:

  Restrictions
Withdrawal from a cash dispenser
or bank		 €1,250 per day
(whilst respecting the monthly credit limit)
Payment in shops according to the monthly limits
established between the P&T and you
Withdrawal from the P&T Luxembourg machines €750 per week depending on your current account situation:
the amount is automatically debited from your post office account, the working day after your withdrawal. In this case, you must choose the "current account" function when you make a withdrawal.

Please note that the monthly limit on your Visa card may be temporarily or definitively changed according to your needs (on condition that it is accepted by our departments). To this end, please contact the Visa department 8002-4004 or by e-mail atccpvisa@ept.lu.
