This year’s Christmas stamp shows a winter scene with a child sledding in the company of his dog. It was designed by Frédéric Thiry.
Frédéric Thiry was born in 1967 in Virton, in Belgian Luxembourg. He graduated from the Institut St-Luc de Bruxelles, comic strip division.
Since 1990, he has lived and worked in Brussels as an illustrator (communication, youth editions, school editions, comic strip, newspaper,…). Most of the time he uses a cartoon style, but sometimes also collage, a technique that is unique to him.
