Oldtimer Stärentour 2011 @ PostMusée
We are proud to welcome the ‘Télévie Oldtimer Stärentour' on Saturday, 16th of July, 2011‚ at the PostMusée. The PostMusée has the honor to be a checkpoint of this tour organized by the ‘Lëtzebuerger Oldtimer Federatioun’ (www.lof.lu). Exceptionally, the museum will be opened on this Saturday from 10.30h to 17.00h
The historical vehicles will arrive between 11:00h and 17:00h on the public parking space at ‘rue du Commerce’ (beside the P&TLuxembourg building at Luxembourg-Gare). Food and drinks will be sold and a musical surprise will be waiting for you.
The ‘Amicale des P&T' sells a meng.post sheet with 8 stamps at the price of 9,60 € per sheet (picture hereafter) and a postcard with stamp and cancellation from PostMusée. 100% of the collected money will be donated to Télévie Luxembourg.
From the 8th of July to the 16th of September, 2011 the PostMusée will organize a special exhibition showing a collection of old postal vehicles pictures from P&TLuxembourg. In addition, a stamp collection about ‚VW Beetle‘ and ‘VW Bulli‘ vehicles will be exposed. Many other treasures from our archives are waiting to be discovered.
