EUROPA competition

The contest for the best EUROPA stamp is an annual online event and the result is communicated during the plenary Assembly of PostEurop. The first contest took place in 2002. All official stamps can participate in the contest. Europa postage stamps have a common theme chosen each year by PostEurop.
The participants themselves choose the motif of their postage stamp, which must fit in with the general theme. Each year, the Stamp and Philately Working Group of PostEurop selects the theme of the EUROPA stamps. The theme this year is “Books for children”.
