Alarmis

Alarmis, an alarm transmission service from one site to one or several service providers linked contractually with P&TLuxembourg.

The alarm transmitter

  • A transmitter is provided to the customer on the site to be monitored.
  • This equipment has 12 potential-free contacts on each of which the customer can connect a signal by means of a private alarm centre, for example.
  • With this device, the customer can monitor 12 different signals: movement, opening, fire, intrusion, water-level and glass-break detectors, etc.

Connectivity up to the Alarmis platform

Dedicated access

Connection dedicated to this effect and enabled by P&TLuxembourg;

  • using an existing telephone line.
  • using an existing VPN.

P&TLuxembourg takes charge of the whole connectivity between the alarm transmitter and the Alarmis platform. As a result, it can guarantee transmission of all the alarms.

Shared access

Relation access established by means of one of the customer's existing LuxDSL/SpeedSurf connections.

P&TLuxembourg does not control all the elements of the connection (customer's router, Internet traffic on customer's connection), therefore it cannot fully guarantee transmission of the alarms.
