'De leschte Ritter'

'De leschte Ritter'

What if John the Blind, Count of Luxembourg and King of Bohemia, who died in 1346, reappeared in Luxembourg today? That is the premise of the comic strip “De leschte Ritter” created by Lucien Czuga, author of “De Superjhemp” and “De Pechert” series and cartoonist Andy “-ND!-” Genen.
Together with his new companion, the gentle, but sometimes awkward Pedro, and assisted by Pixel and the charming Maloo, Jean, who also goes by the name “The Last Knight”, tries to figure out how he arrived in the world of today. What follows is a story full of adventure, humour, mystery and fantastic elements.

Andy “-ND!-” Genen was born in Luxembourg City on 22 April 1979. From an early age young Andy loved to read comic strips and create his own designs, but when his mother gave him his first Batman comic book in 1985, he was hooked. It was not until 10 years later however, in 1995, that he began creating his own stories. After receiving his baccalaureate, he moved to Brussels to study drawing at the Institut St.-Luc.
After drawing a single sheet in a volume of the Luxembourg series “De Superjhemp”, “-ND!-” joined forces with the Lucien Czuga on the famous comic strip “De leschte Ritter”.
The first volume was published in November 2005 by Editions Revue, followed by a second two years later and a third in 2009.
