On Sunday, August 7th, 2011 more than 3.500 visitors came to 'Fond-de-Gras' to discover the historical vehicles of police, postal service, customs and fire service at the wonderful site of the Industrial and railway Park.

Demonstrations of the fire service and the dog section of the police strongly impressed the audience. But also the steam engines of 'Train 1900' and the ' Minièresbunn' knew a big rush of people. The visitors also showed a deep interest in the information and exhibition stands of the different partners.
The music bands from customs and postal service offered two commun concerts.

The event was honoured by the visits of several members of parliament and of the Minister of Culture, Mrs Octavie Modert. Mrs Modert was very interested in the exhibition stands of the different partners and took a lot of time for personal conversation with the involved staff. 

The stand of the philatelic office, which offered personnalized stamps service meng.post.lu and sold different souvenirs from the museum shop, knew a big success. The technical division of P&TLuxembourg showed latest technical materials to explain applications relating to optical fibre.

The day ended at about 7 pm with satisfied visitors and organizers (P&TLuxembourg, customs, fire service,  police and Industrial and railway Park of Fond-de-Gras).

• 12.00h: Common Concert of the music bands from customs and postal service (next to the hall "'Paul Würth")
• 13.00h: Demonstration of the dog section of the police (big parking area in front of the grocery)
• 14.00h: Demonstration of the fire service (big parking area in front of the grocery)
• 15.00h: Common Concert of the music bands from customs and postal service (next to the hall "'Paul Würth") 
• 16.00h: Demonstration of the dog section of the police (big parking area in front of the grocery)
• 16.00h – 18.00h: Hot-air balloon from postal service in front of the 'Remise ferroviaire' (if meteorological conditions allow)
• 17.00h: Demonstration of the fire service (big parking area in front of the grocery)
