SEPAC 2009
The Small European Postal Administration Cooperation (SEPAC) is an organisation made up of the small postal administrations in Europe: Åland, Faroe Islands, Gibraltar, Greenland, Guernsey, Iceland, Isle of Man, Jersey, Liechtenstein, Malta, Monaco, and Luxembourg.
The goal of SEPAC is to promote philately and to ensure the permanent use of postage stamps despite the proliferation of other means of postal franking.
The joint issue for 2009 of the participating members has the common theme of nature and, more particularly, the beautiful countrysides of the different countries. P&TLuxembourg has selected the Vianden castle as the subject for its SEPAC 2009 stamp.
