Commemorative coins
For 2009, the “Office des Timbres” has created a set of six commemorative 2 euro coins issued by Belgium, Finland, Slovakia, Italy, Portugal, and Germany.
Each with a different design, the coins commemorate the presidency of the Saar at the Bundesrat, the bicentenary of the birth of Louis Braille (Italy and Belgium), the second Lusophony Games in Portugal, the bicentenary of the independence of Finland and the 20th anniversary of the democracy in Slovakia.
