Green Award for the P&T/Editus building in Kayl
P&T received the "public sector category" prize at the Luxembourg Green Business Awards 2012, which took place on 24 April 2012 at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg. When submitting its candidacy, P&T explained in detail its sustainable construction initiatives, in particular for the building opened last autumn in Kayl.
This 5800 m2 building is used by Editus (subsidiary of the P&T Group). It obtained 'Gold' pre-certification, the highest accolade awarded by the German institution DGNB (Deutsche Gesellschaft für nachhaltiges Bauen), proving that very strict ecological standards were met during construction. It is the first time that a new building in Luxembourg has received this pre-certification.
