A special stamp illustrating the introduction of the EURO. The first stage has been crossed: since January 1st, the official conversion rate between the national currency and the EURO is irrevocably fixed in 11 members states of the European Union.
The value for postage is specified by the letter A and gives this stamp a permanent validity.
