Alongside traditional and Olympic sports organized by different sporting federations, we have seen during the last few decades the emergence of sporting activities that are played freely, often without esta-blished rules and regulations, by young people who are simply looking for an enjoyable pastime. Since these new "sports" have generally come to us from the United States, this social phenomenon has taken on the English term of "fun sports".
Meanwhile, several of these "fun sports" have evolved into serious sporting events and it should not be forgotten that sports today that attract millions of spectators, such as soccer and basketball, are derived from the "fun sports" of old days.
Tim Wuerz, a young German designer of comic strips born in Schwäbisch Hall in 1973 and now living in Niedernhall (D), has illustrated the following sports in the unique style of his graphic art :
