P&T received the "public sector category" prize at the Luxembourg Green Business Awards 2012, which took place on 24 April 2012 at the Conservatoire de Luxembourg. When submitting its candidacy, P&T explained in detail its sustainable construction initiatives, in particular for the building opened last autumn in Kayl.

On 13 March 2012, P&T issued a stamp to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the introduction of the euro notes and coins. The official presentation of the stamp took place recently at the General Management Offices of P&T, during which the Chairman of the Banque Centrale du Luxembourg, Yves Mersch, was presented with the philatelic frame by Jos Glod, the Assistant Managing Director of P&T.

The new Tële vun der Post’s basic package is being expanded: the well-known Portuguese TV channel ‘TVI Internacional’ will be part of this package from Monday 6 February 2012.
